I don't want to punch down but my god this was the time for Mastodon. And it basically became a punchline. Hopefully this kills the "de-centralization" fairytale once and for all.
People want centralized simplicity. Not ideologically-driven de-centralized complexity.

That's it. I'm done with free password managers. Keepass was okay (+5 years usage), then I tried Buttercup (~1 year). Buttercup is so frustrating. I don't want to go back to Keepass too... So, I guess it's time to use a real service: Hello Dashlane!
