Reclaiming The AMERICAN Culture Starts In The Home A generation does not inherit ethics by accident. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 commands parents to keep God’s words on their own hearts and teach them in ordinary daily life, because what is not taught will be replaced by screens, schools, and peers. Parents who lecture honesty while cheating teach hypocrisy. Ephesians 6:4 requires disciplined instruction without provoking children to rage. The household is the first school of ordered liberty. Children need reasons as well as rules. Genesis 2:24 and Matthew 19:4-6 ground marriage in creation. Genesis 1:26-27 grounds dignity in the image of God. A teenager given only slogans will drop them when a clever classmate arrives. Scripture must be read in context. 2 Timothy 2:15 requires handling the word of truth accurately. Romans 13 does not cancel Acts 5:29. Ephesians 5 does not authorize harsh husbands. Isolated verses become slogans when parents stop letting the whole counsel correct them. Screens catechize whether adults admit it or not. Proverbs 4:23 and Philippians 4:8 require guarding the heart and measuring what enters the mind. Ban without explanation fails the day the child is unsupervised. Work and money must be practiced early. 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 and Proverbs 6:6-11 condemn idle dependence.
