Pro-Hamas Jihadi terrorists in New York City disrupted a peaceful vigil that was supposed to be about common empathy, humanity, peace, and solidarity to commemorate October 7 and all lives lost to chant for Hamas, Intifada, chaos, and war, while displaying images of their icon & hero, Yahya Sinwar. These modern day brownshirts can't stand the sight of Jews or Israelis, no matter how conciliatory or declaratively anti-Zionist, having any space to express grief or exist in public spaces.

This is why you never cede an inch to communists & neo-Nazis like the fake & fraudulent "pro-Palestine" anti-Israel movement: when they charge @NYCMayor with "genocide" & when Hasan Piker backs anti-Mamdani, pro-Hamas saboteurs, this Frankenstein monster is destined to collapse🤡

Tragic scenes in France. Israel condemns the violence from BOTH SIDES, and calls for immediately starting negotiations for a two-state solution in France, which is the only way to end the conflict.

I think the important lesson to learn here is that Mamdani is terrible and deserves every second of this.

Replying to @NYCMayor
Dear Mayor Mamdani, Every single innocent Palestinian who has died in Gaza is a tragedy, but to be morally consistent, you should solely blame Hamas, which waged this war in an attempt to annihilate Israel. Hamas is the real genocide-seeker: it wants to annihilate Israel but it can’t, while Israel could annihilate Gaza but chooses not to. The evil of Hamas and radical Islamists has reached New York City, and I pray you wake up before that evil gets out of control in your city. Make the morally correct decision and listen to those who know.

Mayor Mamdani devoted only 49 words of a 211-word statement to commemorate the worst single day attack on Jews since the Holocaust, in a city that is home to the largest Jewish population outside Israel. He avoided any real description of what happened on October 7, including mass murder, burnings, beheadings, executions, and sadism toward Jews, Arabs, and foreign workers, including women, children, teenagers, and the elderly. He refused to call Hamas a terrorist organization or acknowledge that none of this would have happened had the group honored the ceasefire it unilaterally broke. There was no assignment of agency or responsibility to any Palestinian actor. Yet he used the remaining 162 words to describe in detail what happened in Gaza after the attack. He showed full capacity to recognize Palestinian suffering, which is real and must be acknowledged, but his statement was tone deaf, inconsiderate, and antagonizing to millions who deserve their trauma recognized on its own terms. He has spoken endlessly about his anti-Israel views and will continue to do so, but this was the one day in which he could have offered unconditional compassion to the victims and survivors of October 7 and their loved ones, many of whom have deep roots in New York. This type of statement ignores basic logical principles like cause and effect, choices and consequences, actions and reactions, priorities and implications, further infantilizing the Palestinians and ignoring the failures of Hamas and Palestinian leadership that have harmed their own people. It hardens attitudes toward Gazans and reduces empathy for the vast and unspeakable suffering in the coastal enclave, rather than increasing it. @NYCMayor: sometimes less is better. You should have stayed with your first 49 words, especially as unhinged “pro-Palestine activists” are celebrating October 7 today across the country. Stand up to your base, Mr. Mamdani. You have already won and do not need to appease radicals at the expense of Jewish New Yorkers. And please stop pretending that this is about helping Palestinians or caring for Gazans.

Today is the most important day to clearly state that the “Israeli genocide” lie is both a deliberate, appalling, ahistorical, anti-factual smear — and also textbook antisemitism. Let me explain The Hamas-run “Gaza health ministry’s” own data debunks this lie. Of the ~73,000 deaths in Gaza since the onset of the war, which was started by Hamas in a shockingly vicious terrorist attack, launched with genuinely genocidal intent, tens of thousands have been combatants/military aged men. This strikingly low combatant-to-civilian ratio is an achievement by Israel, which took pains to warn civilians to get out of the way of bombs in advance, paused fighting to inoculate Gazan children, and sent gargantuan shipments of food and other aid into the territory during the war. These are not the actions of a genocidal force. They are the opposite. This achievement is particularly laudable given the enemy’s evil policy of launching terrorist operations from civilian neighborhoods, schools, mosques and hospitals. Hamas puts its own civilians in grave danger, on purpose, as a strategy. And it’s fairly successful because they know — despite the slanderous talking point pioneered by their stooges around the world (even starting while the Jews were still counting their dead) — that Israel is NOT willing to purposefully commit mass atrocities, let alone genocide. That word, “genocide,” has been utterly abused and obliterated of meaning, as a propaganda weapon against Israel. It does not apply to this conflict, certainly not to the Israeli side. But accuracy isn’t the point. Inaccuracy is the point. The word is wielded as a justification for every despicable act of the sick “pro Palestine” movement (which almost entirely ignores the brutal mistreatment of Palestinians by Hamas; a tell). Every time a Jew is spat on, a synagogue protested or attacked, a hostage poster ripped down, a Hebrew-speaking person berated, a soccer team shunned, an event disrupted, a Hanukkah celebration shot up, etc. it’s excused or rationalized or minimized by the “genocide” lie. It’s an anti-moral permission slip, and it’s been revealing who’s taken full advantage of it. They’re almost always people who can’t even feign concern about far worse treatment of various populations around the world. Including Muslim ones. Which brings us to the antisemitism, which is undeniable and obvious to so many of us. But because countless, gross 10/7 statements issued by terror sympathizers, cowards, and ignoramuses insist on repeating the “genocide” lie, while also insisting it’s not about Jews (but rather “Zionists,” the other side of the anti-moral permission slip coin), it must be spelled out: One of the core, black-and-white definitions of antisemitism is the erection of double standards exclusively against Jews (and yes, this includes the one tiny Jewish state—the only country in the world over which there’s a constant and loud debate over the legitimacy of its very existence…even though it’s been firmly established for many decades & was enshrined in international law, for those who at least pretend to care about such things). Lying about “genocide” and applying a novel/changed/invented quasi-definition of it (“look at these buildings!”) *only* to the Jewish state, for the purpose of demonizing/isolating/delegitimizing the Jewish state is straight-up antisemitism. On top of being a lie—things that so often go hand in hand. Reject the lies and reject bigotry. Or at a minimum, have the decency to stop flattering yourself as a good, brave person who’s on the “right side of history.” You’re actually on the wrong side of history, a modern-day heir of dark and ancient rituals of ugliness, scapegoating and deceit.

My beef with Abdul: He says he’s a doctor. He’s not. He’s unlicensed. He’s for abolishing the police. He deleted the tweet, but CNN found it. His staff denied he’s a dual citizen w Egypt. Video shows Abdul saying he’s a dual citizen and he summered in Egypt. He refuses to condemn the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran. He blames terrorism on America’s policies. He calls Israel bloodthirsty. Who uses that language? He says he hasn’t taken a penny of corporate contributions, but his FEC report shows he received $1.9 million in contributions from 629 corporate executives, including from Nvidia, Google and Pfizer. Abdul is a conman.

Three years ago today, there was no war raging in Gaza. There was a ceasefire. Then, in the early hours of 7 Oct, Hamas launched a coordinated invasion of Israel. Thousands of armed men crossed the border & they deliberately went looking for civilians. They went into homes & murdered families. They killed children & elderly. They abducted men, women & children & dragged them back into Gaza as hostages where civilians cheered. And they attacked the Nova music festival. Hundreds of young people were dancing in the desert when terrorists descended on them. It is grimly familiar to see Islamist terrorists choosing a place of music, dancing, & freedom as a killing ground. Manchester. The Bataclan. Nova. There are photographs & videos of what happened that day because, extraordinarily, many of the perpetrators filmed it themselves. There is a plethora of evidence of sexual violence. There is the intercepted call in which a Hamas attacker excitedly told his parents that he had killed 10 Jews “with my own hands”. They raped & burned bodies, hunted people through fields & into bomb shelters, & paraded terrified hostages through Gaza. It was an atrocity. And something happened in the West almost immediately afterwards that I still struggle to comprehend. Before Israel had even buried its dead, people thousands of kilometres away began finding reasons why the victims had it coming. Within days, the murderer and the murdered had begun swapping places in the popular imagination. Three years later, antisemitism has returned with a fervour to Western society with a speed and confidence that should terrify us. Ancient conspiracies about Jewish power & blood libels have been repackaged in the vocabulary of “decolonisation”. Jewish people around the world have been expected to account for the actions of a foreign government. People have celebrated or rationalised terrorism as “resistance”. Influencers who could not have found Gaza on a map 4 years ago have turned Palestine into an entire political identity. And an extraordinary amount of propaganda has been swallowed without the slightest curiosity about the people producing it. So, since the word itself is now treated as an obscenity I will admit that I am a Zionist. Zionism, at its most basic, is the belief that the Jewish people have a right to national self-determination in their historic homeland & that Israel has a right to continue to exist as a Jewish state. That does not mean believing the Israeli government is always right. It does not mean supporting every military action, every politician, or every policy. It does not mean believing Palestinian civilians have no rights or that their suffering does not matter. It means I believe Israel should exist. Shouldnt be eradicated. If Israel’s objective were simply to obliterate Gaza without regard for civilian life, it possesses the firepower to inflict destruction on a vastly greater scale. But they don’t. Hamas, meanwhile, has repeatedly made clear that it regards the destruction of Israel (not peaceful coexistence with it). They have turned down peace deals & 2 state solutions. You can grieve for innocent Palestinians. I do. And you can criticise Israel. I do. You can also believe that every innocent life lost in this war is a tragedy. But I will not pretend that Hamas is a liberation movement. I will not romanticise men who deliberately massacred & raped civilians. I will not accept that murdering Jews is morally complicated because the murderers have run a highly successful propaganda campaign. And I will not participate in the extraordinary collective amnesia about how this war began. On 7 Oct 2023, people were dancing. Then Hamas came across the border to kill them. I remember them today.

Just curious, for the purported normies who insist the anti-Zionist radicals aren’t pro-terrorism, what is the best argument you can make in defense of holding a “resistance” rally on 10/7? And if you can’t make one, what’s the best case for why people shouldn’t judge politicians and activists who refuse to condemn this?

The degradation of Obama’s legacy continues. I say this as a two time Obama voter. Abdul El-Sayed’s mother and father-in-law have documented financial ties to terror networks. His sister-in-law was put on a terror watch list by Obama’s administration. Abdul himself tried to contextualize a terror attack on a preschool in Michigan with over 100 children present, because the Hezbollah-inspired attacker was mad about a bombing of his Hezbollah relatives in Lebanon. And Abdul previously wrote in support of the Muslim Brotherhood government of Egypt under Morsi. Shame on Obama for lending his presence to campaign for this man.
