Congratulations to my student Sabrina Scothorn who successfully presented her master's project yesterday; I was very impressed with her oral and presentation skills. Sabrina is looking at the use of clay to control whiteflies in organic agriculture. @UFEntNem
We celebrated our Postdoc Appreciation Day at the @ufifasnfrec last week! Postdocs are so essential to our research; they are some of the few who can focus on research: no administrative tasks, no classes, just science!

Earning this ranking was a team effort! Thank you for your contributions!
Congratulations to my student Jessica Griesheimer for publishing the second paper from her PhD. Following previous work from our lab, she found that the combination of kaolin clay and pepper weevil's oviposition pheromone was deterring this pest. academic.oup.com/jinsectscie…

Congratulations to @UF_IFAS and all my colleagues for having the University of Florida ranked 5th in the world for Agricultural Science in the recent Shanghai University Ranking.
I am honored to have contributed to this special issue in Environmental Entomology regarding the use of semiochemicals in agriculture. I fully agree with the conclusion of this letter stating that plant volatiles are an underutilized resource in IPM!
