I think Liara just realized that she left all the screens on her office on displaying sexy pictures of Jane Shepard.
And now she's worried someone might just enter her office and see all that.
I know this is a old post but I've been in a lot of places and it's true. A lot of Garrus lovers would be overly possessive to the point of hating and killing off Tali because they get very jealous.
It was fucking disgusting and embarassing to see.
