The attacker didn't know Binance 14's live nonce.
So they sprayed 50 EIP-7702 auths (18914775-18914824) in one type-4 tx.
Only 1 of 50 was a hit.
A 7702 auth is valid only for the current nonce at inclusion. The hot wallet was still firing. One nonce in that window landed.

Claims are circulating that the Binance attackers used a jailbroken AI model.
There's no confirmation of that yet. The root cause is still under investigation.
But the bigger point stands: AI is already being used in real attacks. A state-backed group was caught using a jailbroken AI coding tool to run cyberattacks with very little human input.
The same tools now help defenders find holes before attackers do.

🚨 BINANCE HOT WALLET EXPLOIT: what we know
Last night (~21:24 WAT) binance hot wallets were swept: ~167K ETH, ~1.6B USDT and 60+ tokens left "Binance 14", then 780M USDC left another hot wallet. Estimates range from $2.5B to $5.5B+.
🧊 Frozen: ~$1.57B $USDT (Tether) and ~$800M+ $USDC (Circle)
⚠️ Not freezable: ~195K $ETH (~$450M), moved on within ~15 minutes
🔍 How (suspected, per Blockaid): EIP-7702, the Pectra feature that lets a normal wallet act like a smart contract. Not knowing the wallet's current nonce, the attacker submitted 50 authorizations in one transaction. One matched. The wallet was delegated to the attacker's contract and swept. The gas came from Tornado Cash.
Still unknown: how the attacker got valid signatures from Binance's wallet.
@binance says user funds are safe. @cz_binance expects full coverage.
