The Chiefs and Steelers have both offered Day 3 draft compensation to the Colts for Josh Downs.
After requesting a trade this week, a Downs deal is expected to go down after this weekend.
Indianapolis will likely fetch a 4th or 5th-round pick for Downs after originally seeking a 3rd.

They tryna tell him Wilson not available but if Veach offered 2 First and a 4th rn the Jets would deadass pack Wilson’s bags and throw him out
That Garret Wilson to the chiefs will hit like fire
After talking to several NFL teams and GMs over the last hour, my expectation is the trade deadline will be even crazier than anticipated. Chicago’s all-in move will cause other teams to react and try to be bold as well.
In the words of one source: “All hell is going to break loose over the next week and a half. Get your popcorn ready.”

Colts WR Josh Downs would be a fit for the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the trade deadline.

Downs to KC
WR-needy teams have called the #Colts on WR Josh Downs, according to several league sources.
He’s a name that could be dealt as well.

I really want the Chiefs to go get Josh Downs. I think he would be a great addition. That said, i am not sure it should be the only move they make.
