When someone is constantly telling me that they are a good person, I get my guard up.
Good people don't announce themselves with words.
So, I was traveling on Sunday. A lot happened, and I ended up in Uyo at night.
This guy kept reassuring me that I shouldn't lose hope, that there are good people in this world, blah blah blah...
When we got to Uyo, that's when I realized that the driver had no plans of going to Calabar.
This guy said he would pay for a hotel for us and that I shouldn't be scared.
I thought it was separate rooms ooo. 😭
He said we were going to sleep together. As how nahhh?
I went outside and called Endy. I told him that my mom said I should get a separate room.
He started asking me why I told my mom. Am I not an adult?
He said that if I didn't want to do anything, he wouldn't force me.
I told him that I'm just 18, and bro immediately said he's 20. 😭
The energy he put into convincing me was too much for a supposed good person.
I shall pay for my own room and continue my journey the next day.
