YOU London Leadership Development Conference Day 1 highlights!
Hosted by Kingsford Community School in Beckton, East London.
Good luck to everyone receiving their GCSE results today! 👊
Whatever your results, you can be proud that you worked hard. Some will get the results they want. Others won't. But exam results do not define who you are or what you can achieve.
Good luck to all young people collecting A Level results today. We hope you achieve what you worked for, but remember: if the outcome isn’t what you expected, it isn’t the end of your story. Sometimes the door that doesn’t open is the one that nudges you towards a better path...
If you can, please sponsor the Dep Comdt @SWLACF who is undertaking the @t100triathlon #London #Triathlon this weekend to fundraise for @YOULondon1

What an amazing opportunity for these Fire Cadets!
Three Officer Cadets from the Islington/Camden unit were recently given an incredible opportunity to visit @10DowningStreet
During the visit, the Cadets were even shown round the Cabinet Room by the Prime Minister himself!
What a proud moment for the unit. @CamdenLfb
A big thank you to @scouts for inviting @YOULondon1 to be part of the National Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey @wabbey

Thank you @VoiceOfIslamUK and @T91Ahmed for inviting me on to the breakfast show this morning to talk about positive opportunities for young people in uniformed youth groups, including @UKMuslimScout.
Proud to host a fantastic evening at @kingsford_sch in Beckton last night, raising awareness of the wonderful opportunities provided by uniformed youth groups in the London Boroughs of Barking and Dagenham, Newham and Redbridge and their ability to change lives.
