great data from jj. my takeaway is the much-discussed takeover of TEs and heavy personnel sets was (as some of us predicted) overstated. there was a new schematic edge, and now it's being pressed by more teams, and this is what that looks like.
The rate of 11, 12, and 13 personnel since 2017, and the share of receiving fantasy points (PPR) going to tight ends during that timeframe.

these are the normal ebbs and flows over years and decades of the constant back-and-forth chess match between offenses and defenses in this sport

Jeremiyah Love getting rolled up on in the first quarter, for another (new) ankle injury, is one of those next-level shitty injury situations. Unbelievable.

this is the funniest thing i've seen in a minute!
Glazer: 49ers had trade worked out for Jauan Jennings contingent on a FaceTime with Kyle Shanahan and John Lynch but Jennings said he wanted to stay in Minnesota.

please show me one example this season of someone being down 14, going for 2, getting it, scoring again and winning… I’ll wait.

I didn't watch the game live last night but the amount of stuff I'm seeing on my feed calling that Golden play a drop last night — and the engagement all that got — breaks my brain. Guy created 2 yards of separation in a tight area and Love missed a *huge* target window by at least 5 yards short and to the outside. Ball was "behind his eyes" like Brady said a couple weeks ago, and makes that such a tough catch. And he did damn well to adjust and even get his hands on it — a bunch of WRs wouldn't even make that look like a drop because it took strong body control to make it look like an easier catch than it was. Respectfully, while it would've been great to see Golden finish *what would've been a spectacular play* to bail out his QB, putting more than like 10% of the blame on him is, in my estimation, just flatly inaccurate analysis based on recent narrative (yes, he's had some bad recent drops, which I've criticized him for).

🏁 FOUNDERS LEAGUE WEEK 7 FINAL @jlarkytweets scored 107.41 on Sunday, finished his lineup, and went to bed 10.8 points clear of the cut line. He's out. Because @JoeOrrico was DEAD. 64.5 points. Last place. Down 42.9 with one game left and everyone else's lineups already final. Then Monday night happened. Dak Prescott and Saquon Barkley were BOTH unique picks in the 20-entry field. Both scored at 1.5x: 🔥 Dak — 23.28 → 34.92 🔥 Saquon — 15.10 → 22.65 ➕ CeeDee Lamb — 24.40 +81.97 on a single game. 64.5 ➡️ 146.47. Last place ➡️ 8th. @4WhomJBellTolls climbed too (96.65 → 127.89 on McKee and Lemon). Two men went over the bar. The bar couldn't move. Larky never had a snap left to defend himself. Elimination by spectator. Brutal. ALSO WEEK 7: 🛡️ @DaveKluge takes weekly immunity one week after winning his way back in: 197.93, untouched since Sunday afternoon 🔥 @adamlevitan BURNS HIS IMMUNITY at 94.4. The protection is gone, but he lives to play another week 📉 @YardsPerGretch quietly posts 182.59 for 3rd 13 of 20 still standing. Week 8 is live. Set your lineup. The guy in last place has a 1.5x and nothing to lose. 🏈

I mean, just an all-time TV segment. Making Chuck do Who He Play For multiple times in a row with the same players is a brilliant idea and I was legit crying laughing by the end, my god.

this was one of the funniest plays of the week for a variety of reasons. he's accelerating out of bounds! lol
Replying to @MitchSchwartz71
I mean look at this it’s just an awful angle there’s a lot more yards there without having to take any extra contact

people pointing out it was almost halftime and he was told to get out of bounds are of course accurate, but there were like 7 seconds left and he has a massive amount of room to comfortably gain at least 10 more yards before doing that
