For those artists who dont know how to price their work, and need a starter guide. First, decide on your hourly rate (how much is your time worth), then multiple it by the hours u will need for an artwork, add in a few hours for possible edits. Then multiple it x1.5 - x2, as in our line of work, we don't get sick not paid leave, the extra income is for the buffers. Also we provide our equipment + electricity + tools, these are all invisible cost that would had been provided for in a full time job. So there u have it, a very basic starter guide. Of course it will get more complex with use rights etc. But one step at a time right?
