Some past experiences would have me agreeing to this, but tbh it still falls on me. I mistreated a lot of really good people close to me. But the fallout taught me how to better treat and cherish those around me now. Hope the opportunity to go back and apologise arises in time..

one of the hardest autistic experiences for me was getting incredibly attached to people simply because they were kind to me. when you’ve spent a lot of your life being bullied, excluded or feeling like you don’t belong, basic kindness can feel enormous. so i sometimes assumed a connection was much deeper than it actually was. i didn’t realize the friendship was conditional. i didn’t realize i was being kept around as a backup. i thought someone choosing to be nice to me meant i mattered to them in the same way they mattered to me. realizing that wasn’t true hurt more than i knew how to explain.

Many of your fav musicians were never trained or went to any special schools, they just spent years messing around Most of you don’t have "bad ears" or a "bad voice" - you can absolutely get into singing, mixing, producing, etc. with practice, it just takes time and direction!!
