They have $25M in projected cap space next year, per @PuckPedia. Mikhail Sergachev is signed through 2031. Kucherov played for Andre Tourigny in the QMJHL in 2012-13

Analytics are subjective and this imperfect. It's the same as "old school" scouting. One person's expected goals is not the same as someone else's. The science is in the flesh and blood details. The science is an also art. It's imperfect but it can help you get close to math. I love math--it's spiritual. But, we will never reach math--because math is perfect. I’ve done a full 180 on Marv in the last year. Much more limited route tree this year but creating far less separation than he used to. Maybe he’s still not 100% from his injuries last year but it’s gotten bad. A trade honestly was best case scenario for both sides.
