This is becoming absolutely ridiculous.
Just a quick update on the case, I’ve received a phone call from the Metropolitan Police informing me that the case has been dropped with no further action.
I’ve been arrested seven times simply for expressing my views, yet I’ve never been charged. Just endless stress, anxiety, and nights spent in a cell.
I’m just tired. This is the third time I’ve been arrested in the space of two months. Two weeks ago, the police showed up at my house, intimidating my family.
The process itself is the punishment, and it wears you down. My partner was just on the phone with me, upset because she genuinely believes there’s a chance she could see me go to prison.
However, this is what you sign yourself up for, and I intend to see it through to the end.
I’ve just been released on bail, and the case they’re trying to bring against me is an absolutely shocking attack by the establishment.
First of all, I’m banned from central London, including Westminster, and I’m also prohibited from attending or reporting on any Gen Z-style protests taking place in the UK. This is absolutely absurd and, in my view, nothing more than an attempt by the establishment to stop me from doing my work.
Secondly, during my interview, they were unable to provide any witnesses. Nobody involved in the Gen Z protests came forward with a statement or any evidence against me, yet they’re still attempting to pursue a case.
My duty solicitor did little to challenge the conditions imposed on me and didn’t seem particularly interested in contesting them.

The @LSE_cons (president @JamesBennettUK) have invited Charlie Downes (@cfdownes_) to speak at the university.
As expected, this is causing quite the outrage!
The students are now calling on LSE to:
1) stop Charlie Downes from speaking
2) condemn the society for "facilitating hate speech and fascist extremism"
3) investigate the society for misconduct
4) lay out plans to tackle the "hostile" environment in which "anti-migrant racism, Islamaphobia, and transphobia are normalised"
University students at both my university (UCL) and across the UK like at LSE are brainwashed into believing they must oppose the mere presence of those they disagree with on campuses.
If LSE do cancel Charlie from speaking, this will be an utter disgrace.
