Financial reporting takes time, especially when every entity has different requirements. Preparer Pro turns a trial balance into draft statements and notes under IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, US GAAP or IPSAS. You keep the final say. Join our waitlist at: preparerpro.com

Not sure if it was because of Magna's episode last week but this week's episode just didn't hit. It felt weird.

Think about it, a day when financial statements submitted by companies listed on the JSE or any exchange is without error, consistent on quality, consistent on the sufficiency and appropriateness of information included in the notes and MD&A. Hmmm interesting to think about.

Financial_final_v7_REALLY_FINAL.xlsx deserves retirement. 😂 We’re building Preparer Pro around a connected preparation, review and approval workflow. Less file-name archaeology is the goal. What’s the wildest filename in your reporting folder?

I have seen many journals. Some were posted with intention. Others were posted at 11:58 PM on the last day of the close.

I keep seeing posts like “Claude is really powerful” and “I didn’t know Claude could design like that.” Agreed, and it goes a lot further than some people realise. Here’s a walkthrough of how I’ve been using @AnthropicAI @claudeai , Cowork, Claude Code and Claude Design in my day-to-day work. 🧵

17/ Governance If your team is using AI, and they probably already are: 1. Write a simple AI use policy covering what’s allowed, what’s not and what data stays out 2. Train people on it 3. Keep a record of what AI is connected to and who approved it This doesn’t need to be complicated. It just needs to exist.

18/ Final thought @claudeai is powerful, but the real unlock for me wasn’t giving it more data. It was giving it the right context, with the right guardrails. Start small, protect your data and build from there. Happy to answer questions if you’re trying to figure out where to start.
