Robert Pattinson on playing Charlie in The Drama: "It's one of those strange characters where you think, “I hope people don't think this is me.” Because in some ways it appears... Probably a lot of people watched the movie and were like...But it's definitely not. It definitely not me. But it's weird, I could kind of-- there was something in the writing, the cadence, I was like, “Oh, sort of speak kind of close to my real accent, and I'd never been able to do that before.” And weirdly, thought that was quite exciting. [...] And then Zendaya attached, and I was so surprised. I was like, “Wow, that's actually it changes the entire tone of the movie with her doing it, and she's such perfect casting.” I just really wanted to do something with her."

Robert Pattinson reveals he's seen Dune: Part Three! "What Denis has done with that trilogy, I think is just extraordinary when they see the conclusion of it, people are going to be watching that trilogy for years and years and years. It's unbelievable. Can't believe I got a part in it. I kept calling my agents saying like, “There’s got to be something.” I want to be in that series somehow. And then there were two parts. The initial casting announcement didn't mention Scytale. There was like two like young kids, and I’m like, “Ughhh” [...] I somehow found out that there were rumours of two new characters, and I hadn't read Dune Messiah at that point, and I just saw the character brief. I just googled who Scytale was, I'm like, “Oh, if that's the part that he's asking me if I was interested in it, then I'm like, I'm in. Immediately.” Like, I don’t care. Like, that's literally my ideal part. The experience was just like, it's just beyond anything I could have hoped for.

Robert Pattinson says filming The Odyssey was just like watching somebody build one of the pyramids: "Chris Nolan is obviously like king of the universe. I was shooting Die my Love with Lynne Ramsay, and Chris called to say like, “Hey, I’m thinking of doing this thing. Like, what are you doing next year?” And then you're obviously, like, frozen on the phone just being like, “Oh really? Yeah, maybe, let me just check my calendar.” And then when he said it's The Odyssey, I'm like, “Oh my God.” And then to see what's happened with the movie afterwards. I mean, it's so crazy."
