US DOJ charges five people in a “ghost student” fraud scheme that used stolen American identities to enrol fake students in colleges and steal federal student aid.
The money was allegedly sent overseas through Kenyan-linked networks.
More than $750,000 (Sh97.5 million) in cryptocurrency has been seized, in what the DOJ calls the first international seizure of its kind in Kenya.

“Having Bayern and Ajax play at Talanta Stadium will attract more international football clubs to Kenya.” Just listen to yourselves, man. Are you kidding me? How many stadiums far better than Talanta does Morocco and South Africa have? How many international clubs are flocking to their stadiums to play matches? There are far better ways to market Kenya to the world, and this isn't one of them. This is the kind of misguided investment that consumes millions without a clear, measurable return. Just a mere political statergy of winning the youth after killing them.

The BIG question now: Who are these applicants, and how did IEBC verify their identities and eligibility?
And if this is happening on such a list, how safe is the IEBC voters register? How sure are we that we don't have such ghosts in there? This doesn't look good.
