When I started building Vene, it was just for my parents. What started with my family quickly grew to 5,000. Now we’re rolling out to 50,000 more. If you share our ambition to eliminate healthcare burden for every family, let’s connect!
Today, I'm launching Vene: your AI advocate for healthcare. I used to spend a dozen hours a week managing care for my dad, a disabled veteran, and my mom, who has a severe autoimmune disease. Healthcare was a full-time job for my family. Our goal is to end the burden of care for every family: When you're sick, or caring for someone who is, the hard part is everything after the hospital: the referral that never arrives, the test result nobody calls about, the bill that makes no sense, and everything in between. For my dad, he spent hours on the phone to book an MRI. When he showed up, they told him to his face that insurance had stopped covering it. Then insurance told him to call a list of other offices and get the paperwork sent over himself, and he ended up giving up. That’s why we’ve trained Vene to handle the toughest aspects of healthcare: - Coordinating several specialists at once - Challenging surprise bills and treatment denials - Catching missed follow-ups and care gaps My mom uses Vene to coordinate her primary care and endocrinologist, automatically refill and renew her prescriptions, and manage my little sister’s dental appointments. They were my first users, and now over 5,000 families use Vene, and we're deploying it to another 50,000 patients across provider networks in the US.

If you're a Nigerian developer, whether you're just starting out or you've been building for years, there's so much you can build and learn with homegrown technologies 🇳🇬❤️ We have: 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @pxxl_space instead of Vercel for hosting. 🇳🇬 @StackshiftCloud for VPS hosting and management, as an alternative to providers like Hostinger and tools like Coolify. 🇳🇬 @Dbrij_hq & @sendly_ai_ instead of Resend for business and transactional emails. 🇳🇬 @cencori instead of OpenRouter and Cloudflare AI Gateway for AI model access and management. 🇳🇬 Sabilytics.com instead of Google Analytics and DataFast for website analytics. 🇳🇬 @OutRayTunnel for tunnelling local services, as an alternative to tools like ngrok and Cloudflare Tunnel. 🇳🇬 @Bachs_hq for international payments, as an alternative to Stripe. And these are just the ones I can remember right now! I'm not saying you must stop using international tools. I'm saying we have people right here building alternatives worth trying, supporting, and contributing to. With better local pricing that fits us. I know I'm missing so many other products. What other Nigerian-built products and their global alternatives should be on this list? Drop them in the replies! 👇 And if you're building something in Nigeria or anywhere across Africa, please submit your project to Africa Is Building so more people can discover what you're working on ❤️ africaisbuilding.com/submit

We just completed training Nerve-1, our first AI model built entirely from scratch. Nerve-1 is a lightweight, ~34M-parameter model trained on over 23 billion tokens. It’s designed for intelligent routing, deciding how much reasoning effort a task requires and directing it to the most suitable AI model. It runs entirely on regular CPUs, making routing decisions in milliseconds. We estimate it could reduce our inference costs by at least 30%. Rolling out soon to all businesses and users on @trydecideAI

one thing i enjoy about reviewing accelerator applications: seeing what founders are building before the rest of the market notices. some ideas are obvious. others make you rethink what might be possible. what are you building that more people should know about?

Say no more, big chief! 😂 You can request AI credits too! Just head to Buy Me a Malt, select Custom, name your treat "AI Credits", upload your favourite AI coding agent's logo, set your preferred amount, and you're good to go. I even made an example for you below 😂 It's your page, your treat, your rules! buymeamalt.com

When I tried signing up for some support platforms for a client’s project, my requests kept getting rejected. So I built one myself for that project. Today, we’re launching StackShift Support. No rejections, free to start. support.stackshift.cloud

2 things I have learned in living in the diaspora. 1. Run away from people that hoard information and updates from you. 2. Know the value of the information and updates you have and treat it with the respect it deserves. Wisdom sits in the balance.

Me and realizing that lovable x GitHub x namecheap and a server host can solve most of my tech based problems. I’m literally creating stuff only me and my interested friends will use😂

Imagine sending an announcement to a thousand recipients. You still want to know what happened to each person’s email, not just whether the overall request was accepted. Sendly API supports bulk sending to up to 1,000 recipients in one call, with tracking for each recipient. Sending in bulk shouldn’t mean losing sight of individual messages. developer.sendlyai.com/featu…

Not every win needs to be loud. Sometimes it's learning a new skill, meeting the right person, staying consistent, or simply not giving up on something you care about. Small wins count too.

There’s a difference between having experience and learning from your experience. Not everyone does both.

I built something! Re-Introducing Myhappr. I've been working on a simple way for creators, developers, designers, and anyone doing something worth supporting to receive appreciation for their work. The idea is simple. You create a page, share your link, and anyone who likes what you do can send you a little support, even from outside your country. You keep 100% of your tips, and withdrawals are free. No platform cut. I'm starting with Nigeria and Ghana, with more countries coming. And of course, you can support what I'm building here too: myhappr.com/samueltuoyo Check it out: myhappr.com Dont forget to give @myhappr a quick follow.
