I don’t know if this idea will stay in #ZanderCustomCube but I think I like it enough. The “Game Corner” is a post draft set of singleton Mega/Gigantamax ex’s and likely some Ace Specs to add after the draft. Game Corner pick order is by the # on the GC card, will be 1->8 or 10?
Been thinking about these more today and while the designs may not stay, I think the concept will. One question I was having was that I was worried the decks would become just be arbitrary efficient evolutions, but these give you something to aspire to like “Rares” in MTG or STS.

There’s many serious, sappy things I could say about how this deck changed my life and I’m proud to have the debut placement with it, however the funny thing I learned just this week is that at this same tournament, @piperlepine got Top 4 as well in JUNIORS, holy unc I’m old ☠️

9-4-1 at Louisville with mostly Prize Pack Dragapult (did not pull enough pads or a single Rosa 😭) I threw my set vs Honchkrow which stunk, but otherwise felt good about my play. Autumn came and had a lot of fun also, so I’d call the weekend a success. 91CP now for Ace Trainer
The goal for #ZanderCustomCube is not to make a ton of complicated cards, but I thought this idea was too funny not to use.
Not saying I am going to make either, but if I was going to make one, if I was going to make a super in depth piece of media about the Council Cube (how I started it, how it grew over time, philosophies of this cube specifically) how would you rather engage with it

43 votes • Final resultsI simplified the beginning in a way that makes it less a burden, obviously still not cheatproof, but it’s #ZanderCustomCube so I don’t care. Also made Ethereal Seeker which is definitely worse than VS Seeker since it may cause you to have to predict what you need, but that’s fun!
I was considering more ideas from STS and thought of this unique take on Pokemon Catcher. I’m aware Pokemon would never make this card in paper, but let’s say they would. I’m putting it in #ZanderCustomCube, but how bad/good/busted would you say it is?
