ATLA book 1 always felt slow to me. I've always been pretty meh on Korra Season 1 and 2. Both of those shows become amazing in their later seasons. Seven Havens just delivered a completely satisfying arc for season 1 that has left me satisfied, and with plenty of questions about what's next. It was just so well done, I'm still processing it.
Why tf does Twitter have to have this awful layout for Tweets with multiple images? Just show them both side by side like a normal platform.
This SUCKS for comparisons.
Btw, lots of WIP in here, but my blueprints *mostly* working (after spending a week more on this than I expected lol)
I've been making spline-based power line blueprints for UE5, all using nanite for the wires. One Blueprint handles overhead lines and is tuned for quickly placing consistent spans and the other is for smaller, intricate wiring and built for flexibility and ease of use.
Wires can be easily snapped to static mesh sockets on components and structures, and follow when the parent mesh moves. We've also got a ton of great tap/splice/attach features. Wires can be parented to each other to create splices, and we can also parent static meshes to part of a wire, inheriting the parent's wind sway. I can even attach wires to sockets on an attached mesh to build complex nested assemblies that sway together realistically.
There’s also per-wire noise control and optional auto-placed fittings and lugs at wire ends, plus a lot of newer QOL fixes I did today! About to do a big ol optimization pass at this then get deep into world building with these tools, and finishing up the assets and materials!
Lol I am quite literally mapping out wiring for these pole mount transformers. If any electrical engineers follow me pls feel free to roast xD
Spent the last week or so making some UE5 blueprints to help wire up these power poles. Wire ends snap to sockets on the meshes, and we've also got some subtle wind sway that stays connected through all the clamps and splits.
I need to get back to the rest of the level now but I think I'm at a spot where I can now start going around and dressing these up xD
Can't wait to finally get these all textured up and everything !!!! ⚡⚡⚡
