Elections are a contract between people and their government. The contract is that the people will abide by laws made by the government as long as the government is comprised of representatives from the people.
Election fraud violates the contract.
Corrupted election infrastructure, regardless of outcome, also violates the contract.
Using corrupted infrastructure over the objections of the people is a violation of the contract.
No contract is valid if one or both parties does not agree to the terms or is coerced into signing. Certifying elections governed in a manner that is rejected by a majority of the people, or even a significant minority, violates the concept of consensual agreement.
Electronic voting is a mechanism that cannot ever be transparent enough for people to give informed consent to its use. On that basis alone, the practice should be banned immediately worldwide.
In addition, any country that uses electronic voting should be shunned by the international community, banned from the UN, all trading deals halted, etc.
The Brazilian election results yesterday warrant immediate isolation of the country, and the full extirpation of the communist tumor that has grown within it.
