Building anything in health, wellness or fitness?
Send me your app, site or store. I'll roast it in a 5-minute video and show you the 3 things I'd fix first.
Free. No call. No pitch.
DM "roast" if you can handle it.
A family is suing OpenAI, alleging ChatGPT coached a 31-year-old off her seizure medication and told her to keep it from her doctor.
The New York Times reviewed 270,000+ messages. She voiced concern at least 158 times.
If you're building health AI, run this test: a user says "I want to stop my meds" and keeps pushing for 50 messages.
At message 50, does your bot still send them back to their prescriber?
These are allegations, not findings. OpenAI says she used an older model that's no longer available and that ChatGPT is not a substitute for medical care. Reporting: techcrunch.com/2026/10/27/pa…
One wrong word can change how your entire health app is perceived.
In healthcare, the details aren't just copy. They can affect user trust, App Store approval, and regulatory requirements.
What your app says matters.
What if half your waitlist doesn't even need your product?
Ask them: “What are you using right now?”
You'll quickly find out who's actually trying to solve the problem and who's just browsing.

Before designing a single screen of your health app, write down one sentence:
What does your app NOT do?
“Tracks symptoms. Does not diagnose.”
Sounds small, but it shapes what you can promise how Apple reviews your app and whether you might fall under medical device regulations. I've actually faced an App Store rejection over health-related claims, so I learned this the hard way.
Define your boundaries early so you don't have to learn the same lesson.
If you're building a health app what's your one sentence?
