ICYMI 💡 B2B and direct-to-consumer #supplychains have converged, but inventory systems often haven’t. Real-time visibility, dynamic inventory promising and serial-level tracking can combat phantom inventory without piling on more safety stock. hubs.li/Q04Bmln10

ICYMI ⚙️ #Supplychains resilience requires more than backup suppliers and transportation routes. Workforce flexibility matters, too. Leaders should know where critical skills reside and how to deploy talent before disruption creates another constraint. hubs.li/Q04Bml7D0

Just put it in the NCAA Constitution that Indy hosts a #FinalFour at least once every five years.
The NCAA has selected the following seven cities as finalists to host the Men's Final Four from 2032-36, per release. Denver Houston Indianapolis Kansas City Las Vegas Nashville New Orleans

The most consequential sports broadcast rights deal ever is *not* Fox acquiring the NFL in 1994. It’s the CBS baseball deal in 1990, a money-losing disaster that set a new rights-fees market and reset the revenue-share discussion in #MLB — more sparks that ignited the ’94 strike.
CBS had baseball for four years -- way fewer than any other MLB OTA partner -- and somehow aired several of the most memorable moments in MLB history. Was a disastrous TV deal in many ways, but not on the field.

More important, does CBS not get so gun-shy at losing money over baseball that it keeps Fox from snagging the NFL? That would have set Fox’s growth back years. Does MLB not go to Fox in 1996 if it doesn't have a resume with the NFL? Does CBS ever pursue the SEC? So many what-ifs.

CBS paid big money for MLB for the very reason the network cited publicly at the time: It wanted prime-time postseason baseball because sports generated reliable ratings in a TV landscape that was just starting to become more fragmented. And that’s infinitely more true today.

It arrived later than in recent years, but oatmeal season is finally here in #Arizona.

ICYMI 📰 #AI is changing demand planning in paper mills — and the lessons extend across process industries and beyond technology. Better data, demand sensing and AI scheduling can cut forecast error, inventory and #supplychains disruption recovery time. hubs.li/Q04Bmbj00

And if you interpret “last year” as last season, Knicks-Spurs averaged 20.8 million — nearly four times as many viewers! #NBA #CFB
Hard to be more inaccurate than this paragraph ... 2025 NBA Finals averaged 10.27M (and that was a panel-only number too; probably over 11M under "Big Data"). Comparing CFB viewership to the NBA's household rating (5.1). Always seems to happen just with the NBA, but whatever.

I am so rarely right about stuff like this, so I would think the #Brewers have to be feeling good about the next round, too. #NLCS #Postseason #ThisIsMyCrew
It might be because of my long-time membership in the Pat Murphy appreciation society, but I have a feeling that this is finally going to be the #Brewers’ year, at least for the NL flag. #ThisIsMyCrew
