Don’t believe a predator is repentant until you hear from the victims. They are the ones who will know whether he is or not,

Those calling Michael Tait repentant, and defending the pastor who posed with him, should listen to Tait’s victims. Absolution offered in ignorance is not mercy or grace. It is a refusal to hear the people who were harmed. Do not pronounce on what you do not know.
Unrepentant sin leads to spiritual separation from God, divine judgment, and perishing.
Dear Burk, you have not repented for sin you have been convicted of by the church. For your own sake, please repent to all you hurt. You say you believe in Matt 18. Prove it.

Well would you look at that. That seems significant...
An Illinois judge found that pastor and author Dane Ortlund (@daneortlund) fired an employee in retaliation after she raised concerns about gender bias.
The ruling recommends damages of approx. $89,000 be awarded to Emily Hyland (@EKHyland) and says church leaders failed to follow their own discrimination policy — highlighting broader concerns about asymmetric accountability in ministry workplaces.
