This isn’t even Valve’s fault. All other competitors just keep shooting themselves in the foot cause they would rather satisfy shareholders over the customer.
Can anyone actually beat Steam on PC?
According to Newzoo analyst Emmanuel Rosier, it’s pretty much impossible as long as Valve stays independent and privately owned.
“Steam is difficult to avoid,” He points out that publishers have tried to leave Steam before, only to come back. “10 or 20 years ago, the big publishers decided to have their own platform distribution on PC, and then they almost all went back to Steam.”
EA and Ubisoft are clear examples, and even Blizzard now sells Overwatch on Steam.

I’m convinced this is a ragebait movie with how much they botched Cinderella’s character to conform to a narrative.
Only other explanation is that the twist in the movie being the fairy godmother had the story wrong from the start.

Jailbroken PS5 console managed to make PlayStation 2 games run on PS5 from disc, without even importing digital files🚀
This means Sony were deliberately keeping players from running their games that can work just fine, just so they can sell the games again on PS Store / PS+
Modders are also working on making PS3 games run from disc on PS5, also after Sony telling us it’s “hard” to do so, due to “different infrastructure”
And now you see how far Sony’s greed has gotten. XBOX could always run games from all past generations, full backwards compatibility, yet Sony somehow pretended it was hard, and they once pretended to be shocked as to “why would anyone wanna play old games”?
And there you have it, it’s greed. The same reason they wanna convince you discs are a niche market and don’t sell when data proved them wrong💿
