The 30th Assembly of the International Mobile Satellite Organization (IMSO) has successfully concluded in London.
Pleased to have represented Ghana in deliberations on maritime satellite communications, GMDSS and maritime safety.
A significant outcome was Ghana’s re-election to the IMSO Advisory Committee, reaffirming our commitment to shaping global maritime safety and communications governance.

Government of Ghana’s statement on the tragic killing of Javits Frimpong in the Bronx, New York.
I have spoken to the father of Javits, Mr. Thomas Frimpong and directly conveyed the condolences of the Government and people of Ghana.
On my instructions, officials of our Permanent Mission in New York have visited the family and coordinating with local authorities.
The Foreign Ministry will work tirelessly with US authorities to ensure justice is secured.
The family of Javits and his loved ones remain in our thoughts and prayers. May God grant his lovely soul a peaceful repose.

A 15-year-old Ghanaian boy, Javits Frimpong, was shot and killed on his way to school in the Bronx, New York. Police are looking for three teenage suspects.
Javits, who reportedly came to the US from Ghana about a year ago, was shot in the stomach near Crotona Park on Thursday, October 29, 2026. He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
His father believes bullying may have played a part, saying two students who had bullied his son were suspended just days before the shooting. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is continuing.

Anas Says #BeyondTheVictory opportunities for the youth is what matters ..

Take a moment to watch Anas, our incoming Deputy National Youth Organiser, reflect on a journey that has been built on purpose, commitment and sacrifice.
Having been part of the NDC Youth Wing’s journey, he understands what it took to get us here. But for him, the work is far from over. His next mission is to work hand in hand with the next National Youth Organiser to mobilise our young people, champion their interests and help secure another resounding victory for the NDC in 2028.
The journey continues, and there is still so much work to be done.

Hon. Okai Mintah is seeking to become the next National Youth Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), with a vision to empower young people, strengthen grassroots mobilisation and promote unity within the party.
His ambition also focuses on adequately resourcing party foot soldiers, strengthening youth participation and preparing the party’s grassroots structures ahead of the 2028 general elections.
He believes young people must be given the necessary support and opportunities to play a meaningful role in shaping the party’s future. #G24tv

You claim @stonebwoy gives attention to unnecessary things, yet you people are obsessed with constantly attacking his personality. At this point, it’s no longer about what he does but your personal fixation on him. You can criticize his actions without turning it into a relentless attack on his character. The irony is loud accusing him of entertaining unnecessary things while making him the centre of your own attention.

At the 3rd Russia–Africa Summit in Moscow, today, I reaffirmed Africa’s firm commitment to ending longstanding dependency on foreign aid and raw material extraction, urging our global partners to embrace investment models that deliver equitable, long-term returns for all.
Our goal as Africa’s current leaders is to eliminate administrative bottlenecks and transform historic goodwill into robust, sustainable commercial ties. Africa is a continent of the future. Immense opportunities abound for mutual investment between African and Russian enterprises, particularly in agriculture, agro-processing, healthcare, energy security, and digital services.
To address trade imbalances and create direct market access for African goods, we must deploy modernised trade settlement mechanisms, including the use of local currencies and integrated digital payments. Better market information, predictable quality standards, resilient logistics, and closer cooperation between our respective private sectors can make trade far more balanced, reliable, and mutually rewarding.
