You know, I’ve learned a lot over the last almost two years regarding my NASCAR Facility Friday series. Sometimes it’s better to not go as niche and to briden the material I talk about. Martinsville is going to be good this week.

The latest edition of NASCAR Hauler Talk is out.
Below I’ll have a thread of the interesting and informative bit.

NASCAR did bring the number 35 Toyota back to the R&D center. There is nothing to report yet. NASCAR wanted to check that all the safety systems, breakdown the front clip and look into it. NASCAR also wants to review the car with the 35 team.

For a lap during stage one while the RFK cars were leading several cars were under minimum speed. Typically if a vehicle is under minimum speed, NASCAR will communicate with the team telling them that they have one lap to bring it back up to speed or they will step in. In this case, NASCAR sent an instant message to all of pit road detailing which vehicles were under minimum speed and telling them that if they did not rectify the issue, NASCAR would step in. Obviously no cars were black flagged and the cars sped up.
I recently started listening to the Checkers and Wreckers NASCAR podcasts and I’m really enjoying it. I love the paint scheme ranking. @declan_wayman and his buddies from West Virginia University created something special, I’d highly recommend checking it out.

Goodyear Racing has released the tire information for the NASCAR Cup Series. The compound and construction is the same as the tire that was used in the spring. This tire was also used earlier this season at New Hampshire, North Wilkesboro and Richmond.

Post race technical inspection is complete. No issues, Kyle Larson is officially the winner. The 35 of Herbst will be taken to the R&D center for additional teardown
