Might be a long one so buckle up. What we saw today with free skin mint from @the77bit was a big THANK YOU back to those who played beta and provided valuable data on game and player behaviors to make it as polished as possible for full game release. I think rewards are not gonna stop here. But I don’t want to speculate much on this since this post is for something different. I am writing this to tell the world and specifically crypto twitter - at least those very few that will read this, why we should also say a big THANK YOU back to @the77bit team as a COMMUNITY. Going to start with little bit of history. @the77bit originally started as ragnarok with very big ambition but very inexperienced team at the moment. The CEO might’ve had a lot of success in past but never built in public and never built games before. The game studio might’ve built good games in past but never to this ambition. Some mistakes and hiccups along way happened but nothing stopped the community and this resilient ceo to keep improving, getting feedback and building game. Of the mistakes that happened. I think biggest one being - expanding too FAST and building too much all at once after successful public mint. Team wasn’t focused. According to game director the current version of game was pretty much built in 1.5 -2 years on 2x smaller team than they had post mint. As time went by team clearly progressed and matured in their efficiency and execution. From spending 1 year on alfa to spending 1.5 years on beta with 20x more content and game features is amazing progress. I’ve seen this company and this team evolve from overnight garage scramble to a powerful and well oiled machine all thanks to grit and perseverance. They are only ones in crypto gaming space who decided to take every penny from public funding - mix it with human sweat and blood and actually deliver on something that COMMUNITY wants. The amount of feedback and communication that @0xfanfaron and @BitBoromir are taking directly from YOU that will directly impact the way game works/looks is unprecedented. I am pretty much seeing game director and ceo engaging with holders every day and giving us sneak peeks into future. The team is setting bar higher than anyone else in space. Most of crypto twitter is not even expecting much because they are used to being shipped half backed games or nothing at all. But this team is different, there is no smoke and mirrors The director himself said this is only 50% of what he envisioned for full game and building out rest will take more time and funding. He openly criticized his own freaking game while everyone on ct loved it. Thats how high bar they are setting. With all that said unfortunately I am running out of character limits and want to get to my main point. We should also say THANK YOU back to best and most goated gaming team in web3 for being who they are. Without them the dream of web3 enabled FUN mmorpg might’ve never happened. The way I am saying back THANK YOU is by minting extra skins as all those funds will go into development of cryptos first gaming success in mmo. If you have the ability and funds I highly suggest doing same. 100k people minting one $7 skin will go a long way to achieving the dream of mmo gaming on blockchain at masses. But of course you can also support team by simply spreading word and playing full game on the release. On that note. Thank you @0xfanfaron @BitBoromir for doing all of this amazing work. I can’t wait to mint my QC.
