Some absolute ding dongs can’t seem to work out it’s better for the so called “climate emergency” to drill your own resources than to have boats that use the dirtiest fuel possible to bring it from thousands of miles away instead.
One day we will just be a normal club.
🚨 EXCL: Everton put up for sale by The Friedkin Group. #EFC owner already seeking investment but now ready to exit if/when right buyer emerges. TFG intend to maintain full support in meantime after stabilising club + completing stadium move @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7672592…
So I can see in real time who’s fucking me the worst, nice.
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.
Lied that many times they’ve forgot what they’ve said 😂😂😂
🔺 Update: Manchester City’s defence that their principal sponsorship deals were funded by the Abu Dhabi government and not the club’s owner may be undermined by a statement made by their principal sponsor Etihad to a US investigation in 2015 | ✍️ @martynziegler, @Lawton_Times thetimes.com/sport/football/…
Jesus fucking Christ do any of these people live in the actual real world
'How can you carry a ladder on a bike!?'
@FestAKINBUSOYE isn't convinced by @HinaBokhariLD's suggestion that builders could use cargo bikes to help tackle high fuel costs...
So they are blackmailing them then?

UAE officials have warned the UK government that the severity of Man City’s punishment could undermine their appetite for future grand-scale commitments in Britain, according to people familiar with the matter
They consider the Premier League’s actions to have an influence on the bilateral state relationship, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing undisclosed information
The extraordinary pressure comes after Andy Burnham faced criticism, including from within government, for saying Man City’s Abu Dhabi owners should not be disqualified specifically because of the investment they bring to Britain

No it’s fucking not, that’s the bare minimum we expect and bare minimum that should be given by the players, fucking does my head in.
💬 'All you've got to do, as an Everton player for Evertonians, is run round and work hard, and I think people are seeing that.'

Another ex player who done fuck all telling us to be happy with being a nothing club.
Be careful what you wish for. What do you want a phone call from them to tell you everything is ok? Or do you want a beautiful stadium and a great running business. The football is going well and there is a representative from TFG at every game. Football is now a business, look at Tottenham after spending over £300m and the difficulties they are having. I remember when everyone was asking for investment when Bill was here, look what happened then - @Tim_Cahill via @bbcmerseysport @GiuliaBould
