The @IsaAshiruKudan manifesto for Kaduna State is a beautifully articulated and well thought out document. What I find particularly compelling are the proposals on security, many of which are practical, measurable and attainable within the short to medium term. Our proposed reforms in education, economic development and the civil service also have the potential to transform Kaduna and, by extension, provide a model for Northern Nigeria. Most of the challenges bedevilling Arewa are solvable. What they require is strategic thinking, political will and the determination to see through difficult but necessary reforms. One thing I particularly appreciate about this manifesto is that its proposed targets and KPIs are realistic, measurable and achievable. Kaduna has an opportunity to chart a different course. Let us give Rt. Hon. Isa Ashiru Kudan the opportunity to present his vision and serve our state. A better Kaduna is possible.
