Most of the responses to this original post where this is from aren't worth responding to but I did get the tax breakdown wrong. It's been a really long time since I had checked, but the number is actually closer to 14% of that spending. That's a big error and I hold that.

That being said, she isn't apolitical in the slightest. "Military tomboy" vtuber IS a political stance. Over 60% of my tax dollars go into an industrial complex that has hurt people close to me and abroad rather than programs and schooling that actually benefit Americans.

However, 1% on education and social services combined is a joke. My point still stands. I thought it could at least be like 5% or something. They spent $2B more on cops than American youth.

The whole situation with Tomoe Umari sucks ass because it really does come down to poor timing and some dem voters just being straight up evil or disingenuous. Doing shit like this only others people who could do good and are amenable towards positive changes.

Shit is scary right now for much of those in disenfranchised and minority groups, being apolitically presenting does hurt those people coming for comfort and calm in these times. But harassment doesn't solve shit if they're not pulling the levers of power, it just damages trust.
