To my non french moots, what’s happening in France right now is heartbreaking Students are taking the streets and protesting bc they’re tired of being ignored. They’re asking for better education, better conditions in schools, more resources for students and teachers, and a future where their voices are actually heard❕ But what’s more disturbing is seeing how these protests have been handled. We’re seeing dangerous police interventions against minors. Police are using powerful weapons and grenades against them, young people have suffered serious injuries during these police interventions, one lost his hand and part of his forearm after a police grenade exploded, while another lost sight in one eye after being hit by a police projectile!! I stand with the students. I stand with their right to protest, to be heard, and to demand a better future🤍
