Maya Freyer also won the overall Gold Medal with the fastest time of all 4 classes, 18:43.9!!! She is the 6th Crusader to win Class A & the 5th to also be the Gold Medalist!!! She is pictured with Jackson Einspahr from Seward, the boys Gold Medalist. Congratulations Maya!!!

Here is a picture of the top 15 runners in Class A. Maya Freyer & Louise Walker are receiving their 1st & 2nd place medals!!! This is the first 1-2 finish for Marian since 2006. They both ran fantastic races on a difficult course & day!!!

Here is the team and coaching staff receiving the State Runner Up trophy & medals. Leading the way were Maya Freyer 1st, Louise Walker 2nd, Harper Cowles 17th & Erin Rodgers 26th!!! The other team runners were Elizabeth Morgan, Mabel Henningsen & Tatum Houghton!!! Great job!!!

The 6 medalists for Marian in the District A-1 Meet were Maya Freyer 1st, Louise Walker 2nd, Harper Cowles 3rd, Erin Rodgers 10th, Tatum Houghton 11th, & Elizabeth Morgan 13th out of 54 runners. They are definitely ready to take on the State Meet course in Kearney next week!!!
