Daryl Morey said he’s been trying to sign Guerschon Yabusele for “3 seasons” on @975TheFanatic:
“We’ve tried to sign him [Guerschon Yabusele] for 3 seasons…he continued to improve overseas and he was getting towards the end of his deal…he really wanted to be in Philadelphia.”
We got Rico Hines and Phil Handy on the same coaching staff. Superteam assistant coaching staff 🔥
So you take 6 million a year as a certified bench player when you could’ve signed here for 5.7 million and had starter upside?
Sixers fans dead ass expect Grimes to walk into the building after a monstrous Sixers season and say “Daryl I’m demanding 14 million dollars a year”
Yall funny asf man 🤣🤣🤣
5.) Final Sixers 2025 off-season roster:
Maxey, Grimes, PG, Naji, Embiid
McCain, VJ, Edwards, Walker, Bona
Butler, Gordon, Kennard, Council, Broome
NBA Free Agency is 3 days away…
So here’s my #Sixers perfect 2025 off-season (🧵):
1.) Trade Drummond’s 5 million dollar salary + draft capital for Naji Marshall with the Mavs logjam at the forward/big position.
3.) Sign Luke Kennard to a 5.7 million dollar deal at the TPMLE to add some consistent shooting and some passing.
The #Sixers may trade tonight’s 35th pick for multiple 2nds, per @BrettSiegelNBA:
“After taking Edgecombe third overall, the 76ers may leverage this pick to acquire more seconds to acquire depth on their roster. The New York Knicks are one of the teams interested in Thiero.”
The Sixers are going to make one final run at Dylan Harper tonight during the NBA Draft, per @JakeLFischer.
A Maxey-Harper backcourt would set the #Sixers up for the post-Embiid era.
