H has been a knob on #BBUK, frustrating, overreacting, mood swings, continuing to hang around people like the toxic people from the outside who made him feel this way. Like, fucking hell.

On it, even if the reality is that you will be accepted. You have to go on that journey to love and accept yourself and that’s scary. However, what he needed was not to go on #BBUK to come out, but to go to therapy to find peace with who he is, and realise what matters.

So I’ve felt sympathetic for what’s been going on his that head of his. The yearning for acceptance, the fear of your life changing. And growing up with that it can become internalised, you hate yourself for your sexuality, persuade yourself it’s sickening, that you’d never act…

Over the #BBUK series, I’ve really tried to fight for Frankie. I’ve grown up in a working class background where you’re surrounded by men who you cannot fathom would ever accept you for your sexuality. The hyper masculinity, the inherent homophobia, it’s hard.
