Pipit is a little kid, so I guess for now, it just felt right to make the world feel quite big to move around in. ^_^

Show this to everyone who deserves a good indie game.
Took some time to play the demo for The InBetween and honestly, I really enjoyed it.
The hand-drawn art has a really simple charm to it, the platforming is fun once you get your bearings, and the soundtrack fits the world perfectly.
Definitely worth checking out.

First of all, I'm going to preface this that I'm always going to be 100% honest with the demo plays that I post.
I am putting this up because the artwork is really awesome, the music is great, and that is has potential for being a great platformer. I played The InBetween by @theinbetweendev My issue was the prologue seemed a little too long for being a demo. I was taken slightly aback, and yes I know it's a video game, by the random voice in my head telling me to unalive myself after such a traumatic event. (Trying to be as vague as possible to not spoil.)
I didn't get to the "good stuff" until about 35 minutes in. And this is my opinion. My partner that was playing along side me actually had already stopped. I would also like to revisit this post with an update now that I'm at the spot where there's action. The guy that punched me into oblivion needs to be dealt with. But Pipit is a wonderful character and I'd like to see what happens to them.
For the love of the indie devs though I would still check it out on steam! It's possible it wasn't my type of game but I'm not going to be negative about it.

Despite the violence that could be found in The InBetween.....
There's no gore.
When people in this world get hurt badly, they break like glass until they die and disintegrate.
In light of that..... I still wonder..... How did this game get a T/Pegi 16/CERO 15+ age rate??? 😅
In The InBetween, for every choice you make, there's an advantange.
