I am all for Flare proving its capabilities in DeFi, but to me, the bigger application and narrative for @FlareNetworks lies in its original vision as the #Blockchain4Data ☀️
I’d love to see more discussion and greater utility built around its enshrined decentralised data infrastructure, particularly the State Connector and Data Connector.

@FlareNetworks needs to stay focused and go back to its roots, and better communicate their original narrative.
Data powers the infrastructure of finance.
We built the network of data.
Sentora curated the vaults.
Kraken is the distributor.
Firelight brings in the cover.
Backed by XRP and FAssets.
Secured by Flare data.

9 hours straight on confidential compute then a walk, still talking specs & product ideas
"data + privacy + compute"
every convo reveals just how much the @FlareNetworks stack can do
YES It's happening with Ripple.
Flare: building for what comes next for XRP and beyond.

Thank you to the FLARE community for bootstrapping Firelight's growth. We're also seeing stakers flow into Firelight during the largest exploit in market history. I can't express enough how much we appreciate your trust. @Firelightfi @jrdothoughts

FLR isn’t listed on Binance, but this is a market-wide event and volatility can hit DeFi positions anywhere.
Do follow updates from the specific protocols you use.
And look after yourself. Moments like this are stressful. Protect your sleep 🫂

flare just joined the @XRPLF's recommended validator list.
9 months from application to merge. years of showing up before that: fxrp, fdc indexers, smart accounts.
kept building. now validating too
the alignment was always there. now its official
a beautiful PR github.com/XRPLF/unl/pull/11
Worth putting the numbers in
Right now, 53% of circulating flare-networks:native is staked or delegated, capturing most of the issuance as rewards.
The other 47% absorbs the new supply and earns none of it.
That means participating in @FlareNetworks isn’t just sentiment. It’s maths.
From observation I don’t think people are thing clearly about inflation and how it benefits or dis benefits them. Nor Fire.
Inflation on Flare is 3%. This is low across the space.
If you stake or delegate you get that inflation less the infra share of 20%.
This means that assuming you are staking or delegating your annual dilution isn’t 3% it is actually the infra share IE 0.6%. (It is in fact less as <100% of tokens are staked or delegated)
Infra costs (fiat) money to run, this means that a reasonable amount of that 0.6% probably does hit the market.
Price is formed not by esoteric thoughts on long term fundamentals but by marginal buyers and sellers.
Whilst FIRE’s long term goal is to completely neutralise all inflation, the first goal is to neutralise the primary source of needed selling generated by the network’s existence that comes from the infra share.
This is a much lower number and much more quickly attainable than the full 3% - whilst to reiterate that still remains the goal.
If you bump into the Flare team at @RippleSwell and dont have time to watch the keynote, here’s the tl;dr.
Flare =
Know what’s true, onchain and in the world.
Run the work that can’t happen in the open.
Unlock what the asset can actually do.
ripple:native first, not XRP only. Whatever is issued on XRPL can be put to work through @FlareNetworks, sending value back to both.
Proof so far: about 145M FXRP minted, ~90% of it is in use. It’s on 7 networks, and you can borrow $RLUSD against it.
What it means for $FLR: More activity on Flare means more protocol revenue to FIRE, helping offset inflation and reduce supply.
Now go ask us the harder questions.
"XRP is the issuance chain. Flare is the programmable chain."
-@HugoPhilion at @XRPSEOUL, during @kbwofficial.
The next question is what an institution can do with the asset.

Curators on Upshift can now add @Firelightfi cover to their vaults.
@SentoraHQ's Protected USD and Protected RWA vaults are the first to offer it. The covered events, price and capacity are registered onchain, and staked XRP on @FlareNetworks supplies the cover capital.

"Public prices first, then verified external events, then assets from other chains, and finally private data. Smart Accounts close the loop by connecting that stack to the people who hold the assets.
Each Flare product builds on the layers beneath it, which is why the suite is best read as a single architecture" - Flare stack explained by @defillama_res
Blockspace is abundant. Reliable data isn't.
@FlareNetworks built its L1 around the data smart contracts need.
That layer already powers FXRP, with nearly 90% deployed in DeFi, and is extending to private data through Confidential Compute.

ripple:native on @FlareNetworks now backs @Firelightfi cover for vaults on Stellar, Ethereum and Kraken’s Ink.

Cover on @krakenfx, capital on @FlareNetworks .
Every onchain product @Firelightfi covers, draws on one pool: staked FXRP.
XRP reaches that pool through FAssets, from the XRPL wallet you already use.

FXRP/ RLUSD
Stablecoins are moving from trading tools to core financial infrastructure. North America leads, with 45% of total crypto transaction value in transfers over $10M — signaling institutional-scale flows driving demand for regulated, compliance-first assets. RLUSD is designed for that environment.
