🚨Meet Lee Anthony Gautreaux, 59, of Houma — self-declared Trump-appointed “Sarcasm Czar” and neo-Confederate who posted a MAGA meme on Facebook saying immigrants are a threat to women and children. He’s just been arrested for s*xually abusing young children. Gautreaux was initially charged with 18 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles after his original July 1 arrest, when he was booked on $180,000 bond. Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigations Division kept digging into the case against Gautreaux and turned up new information leading to two fresh warrants, issued September 1. The alleged victims were 8 and 9 years old at the time, according to Houma PD. He’s now held at Terrebonne Parish Correctional Center with no bond. And what was this self-proclaimed moral crusader posting while all this was allegedly happening? The standard MAGA fare. -He called Confederate cemetery vandalism “the kind of hate we are dealing with today.” -He gushed to Trump about his “hard work and leadership.” -He shared a post declaring “Real Americans still stand with ICE.” -He urged followers to “vote FOR anyone with an R after their name” right before the 2024 election. -He even joked — twice, in 2016 and again in January 2025 — that Trump had named him “Sarcasm Czar.” Gautreaux does not appear to be a drag queen, transgender, an immigrant, or a Muslim — making right-wing outrage unlikely.
