Young QBs .. DO NOT SLIDE!
Incorporating a low and away dive is much safer and effective
Here we go again…
Young QBs: here’s my coaching point on sliding⬇️
I’d much rather Qbs “slide, dive, knife” head first rather than slide feet first and here’s why.
1) the ground NEVER loses… at any moment a defender can lunge, intentionally or not, and the only target he has to hi is your chest or head..
laying back to slide only aids in the momentum of your head going backwards and violently into the ground. Diving or knifing protects the back of your head from bouncing off the turf
2) YOU (the Qb) control the hit- when “knifing” down low to the ground you do so directionally away from the nearest imminent contact. This also limits the amount of body exposed to a hit.
i.e: Think about how a baseball player can head first slide “away” from the tag
3) the ability to SEE where the contact may be coming from - by “knifing” or diving, you keep your eyes on the pursuing defender longer again aiding in diving away from the nearest defender and your arms, chest and head ( along with the ball) are no longer exposed to the extent they would be in a feet first slide.
I realize Tyler was trying to quickly give himself up, and yet the defender could’ve still caused injury..
JJ on the other hand controls where the hit comes from and is able to dive away from it and protect himself.

I will die on the hill of putting this on the QB. QB can slide whenever he wants and keep himself out of danger. The closer the QB gets to a defender the more that defender is committing to make a hit. Defender doesn’t know if QB is tryna run him over, make him miss, or slide.
Seen way too many awful, scary or flat-out dirty hits watching football. And this is definitely bad.
But never seen a guy act this way after one, celebrating and not showing an ounce of concern/remorse. (@SharpFootball posted an extended clip of him.)

There’s no way this is the dirtiest hit you’ve ever seen when the QB slid late.
I have a REAL solution, REMOVE sliding from the game. Get down EARLY or get hit.
What the defender did after the fact clearly isn’t cool but the hit itself wasn’t as bad as people are saying.

Why not just fine him normally like they do everyone else? Removed from the game is crazy. These folks tellin you what it is

"I said to Trump, you know, 4 days before the war started, if you do this, you know, the United States will be kicked out of the Gulf. The American Empire will begin to collapse. Your legacy will be destroyed along with your party. I said this to Trump to his face in the Oval Office days before the war began, and he looked at me and said, 'Yes, you're right. But in the end, we all die anyway, so it doesn't matter.' That's exactly what he said. 'In the end, we all die anyway.'"

The video? Medics being executed from 8 metres away and then buried with their ambulances.

NYT now confirms it.
He knew about Oct 7.
He stood down IDF posts.
He moved a festival of kids a mile from the unmanned IDF line.
He slaughtered his own people to justify slaughtering 100 times more Palestinians.
It was all by design.
An evil beyond imagination
The NYT confirms Haaretz's report that Benjamin Netanyahu was secretly warned before Oct. 7, 2023 by the Emirati president that Hamas planned a major attack, per 2 sources
