🇲🇾 BTS KUALA LUMPUR | FIREWORKS 🎆
Someone asked me where I think the fireworks will be at National Stadium Bukit Jalil. Since others attending Kuala Lumpur may be wondering the same thing, I thought I'd share what I've found!
1. BTS'S PREVIOUS ARIRANG SHOWS
Across the tour, we've seen different fireworks arrangements, including 360° displays and effects concentrated on particular sides of stadiums. There doesn't appear to be one consistent placement pattern, which suggests that venue capabilities, local restrictions and production requirements play a significant role.
2. BUKIT JALIL'S HISTORY
The stadium has previously accommodated several fireworks configurations:
• 360° effects around the stadium during the 2017 SEA Games ceremonies, with larger displays concentrated in certain areas.
• Fireworks concentrated toward the western side in other footage I've reviewed.
• Fireworks associated with the southern end-stage area in previous concert footage.
BLACKPINK's Born Pink concert also appears to have featured fireworks extending beyond just the end-stage area, although I haven't established the full coverage.
3. WHAT I THINK THIS MEANS FOR BTS
My expectation is that BTS will aim to give ARMY the best fireworks experience that the venue, surrounding area and applicable restrictions can accommodate.
Given Bukit Jalil's history, I wouldn't rule out a 360° display. But its previous use doesn't guarantee the same arrangement will be permitted or selected for BTS.
SO, WHERE SHOULD YOU SIT FOR THE FIREWORKS?
Unfortunately, I can't confidently recommend a particular side based on fireworks alone. I've observed enough variation that multiple configurations remain possible.
Fireworks aren't part of my formal stage-orientation predictions, but curiosity got the better of me and I ended up researching them anyway. 😂💜🎆
A little transparency: my confidence ratings are the most subjective part of this project.
The evidence may be objective, but the rating also reflects how confident I feel interpreting it correctly. Some of the harsher reactions when I’ve been "wrong" (3 alternate entrances) have affected that confidence.
So sometimes “Medium” or “Medium-Low” really means: the research supports this, but I’m still nervous about trusting myself this much. 💜
