Unstoppable coordination. The third leg of crypto is almost here.

Ethereum

6529 chain is about to launch its testnet this week.
The ambition is to be the third most decentralized chain next year, with the end goal of being #1.
But why so decentralized and for what purpose?
Coordination itself.
Bitcoin gave us a store of value, Ethereum gave us code, but society still runs on centralization.
“What’s the use case of crypto?” is an annoying question we hear far too often.
Right now coordination happens on X, Google, Meta, Slack, Discord, etc
Coordination powers the world. As a society, we communicate, make tough decisions, allocate resources and move money.
Large corporations become more powerful than ever in a digital world and authoritarian governments sit above them.
6529 breaks the barrier.
Self-sovereignty powers everything. Own your identity, communicate securely with post quantum encryption, make decisions together and participate in a global economy all without a central authority.
6529 also has very interesting symbiotic properties with Ethereum and other chains and has the potential to scale DeFi.
More specifics to come later this year in the white paper.
If 6529 wins then anyone with an internet connection has economic opportunities, increasing global freedoms.
Also public goods funding is baked into the protocol itself. As 6529 scales public goods funding increases as well.
Just a fascinating project. Very exciting times ahead. Highly recommend creating a free profile at 6529 dot io and exploring the ecosystem.

Attention Twitter Friends:
As you may have heard, the 6529 Network is gearing up to begin running decentralized nodes over the next week(s).
PLEASE NOTE: no one from the team or community will be having you rush to do anything, especially download or sign urgent items.
Times like these are ripe for scammers so please please please know there will be clear instructions and step by step guides before any action is needed. Even when things are ready, processes will be methodically laid out to give everyone plenty of time to get things set up correctly.
For any needed verification, check out the announcement tab on 6529 site/app where @punk6529 will be placing important and verified updates.
Exciting times indeed, but be smart and most importantly be safe.

Today, 6529 releases post-quantum encrypted DMs.
Just one more thing the platform’s critics will choose not to understand.

I’m moving over full time to @punk6529 Seize.
Follow me over there.
Will also be setting up a node and trying to experiment on there.

Sometimes the memetic universe aligns with reality and we get a meme that perfectly encapsulates a moment in time.
Congrats @chrisgranneberg on “Trust Me Bro” being selected into the Memes.
Minting Friday! ❤️🔥

We, 6529, have been accused of running a rather extravagant art gallery.
The expense, admittedly, is the civilization we insist on building around it.

Post Marfa Thoughts:
I don’t think I can put into words how truly remarkable my 2026 Marfa experience was. With that said, in typical Mada fashion, I am certainly going to try.
Simply put, it comes down to three key elements: Art, Warmth, & Connectedness.
Art: From breathtaking documentaries to VR sculpture masterpieces.. from combining generative art with music to exploring the intersection of time, photography & algorithmic art.. the creativeness and execution witnessed over three days was vast and beyond expectations. I was taken on a journey that encompasses exactly what makes art so special. The expression of so many feelings in so so many unique ways.
I don’t mean this hyperbolically, but on many occasions I was so moved with emotions I was brought to tears. Not that I was sad, but rather that I became overwhelmed with so much feeling. I know it sounds bizarre but I felt empathetic towards the art I experienced. Lived experiences expressed through art in a way that felt incredibly personal. Bravo to everyone that presented their work. Thank you thank you thank you.
Warmth: In reflecting, the key difference from quite literally any other experience I have had is the warmth and kindness of everyone in attendance. I know it sounds cliche but I can’t help but feel that Marfa has simply become a magnet for the best people in the world. The distance and difficulty of making it is undoubtedly a feature and not a bug.
I have not hugged so many people in such a short period of time. Strangers becoming friends in the course of a conversation. The fact that this happened over and over and over is simply not normal. It is a product of the high density of amazing individuals that called Marfa home this past weekend. Openness, acceptance, warmth. Something I discussed with many people and will desperately try and figure out how to replicate.
Connectedness: I recognize much of what I described in warmth also applies to connectedness. However, with warmth the emphasis is on new relationships. For connectedness, I want to double down on the relationships I have curated over the last four years.
The bonds I have are so strong I truly believe they are unbreakable. A hobby that has transcended into a launchpad of lifelong relationships. I feel so privileged to have somehow made it to this very position. I have found in recent times the quote “I am all alone, but not lonely” has represented my life. However this past weekend, I was most certainly not alone or lonely. Thank you to every friend I embraced, I love you.
So here is to another Marfa in the books. It might be over but it will live with me forever!
Much Love,
Mada
Following the overwhelming success of last night's performance of THE WEIGHT OF SOUND in Marfa last night, I'm still struggling to find the words to describe such an emotional evening.
What started as an experimental exploration of rhythm, resistance, and vulnerability became something far greater than I could have imagined.
Thanks again to @nodefnd for providing a space to share my artistic expression.
A heartfelt thank you to @ArtOnBlockchain, @NedRyersonBing , @RogerDickerman , and @adamilenich for making this unforgettable experience possible on such short notice.
Marfa, you were incredible. 🥁💚
The silence has been broken.

Critics are so fun not because they reinterpret the bounds of intentional ignorance but because, if you’re lucky, they offer an otherwise unavailable opportunity to self-reflect. I will drone on and on below:

In 6529, the “gatekeepers” are the community of holders who minted or bought cards, along with winning artists who received them for free.
Decentralization isn’t about giving everyone a vote. It’s about fair rules that apply equally to everyone, with no central authority enjoying special privileges. Equal opportunity, not equal outcome. This is exactly how I would describe Bitcoin as well.
6529 isn’t a communist society built to support artists. It’s a network state designed to grow itself while funding public goods, including art, software, science, research, etc.
The tech stack includes its own censorship-resistant coordination app, a novel decentralized decision network, and a growing set of smart contracts, including new ones designed to increase artist revenue.
The goal is to be the third most decentralized chain at the launch of the network by independent validator count (coming soon!!). This is a beautiful ambition which should be supported not torn down.
IMHO, 6529 has delivered more value to more artists than any other platform. Yes, the network takes 50% to fund its own growth, but it has no VCs or special insiders to fund it. The Memes is the only funding mechanism for the network state and mints are open to anyone with an internet connection.
Also, once the chain is live next year, the broad community of aligned TDH holders who have participated in the open minting process or artists who have won submissions will control that treasury together.
I look forward to valid criticisms of the network state from people looking to improve the project. To criticize you must first understand. I see a lot of the criticism. Very little understanding.
I’m sure we will see many good ideas from community members, artists and builders as the project grows.
Also, gmarfa

Marfa Airplane Thoughts:
I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars supporting artists over the last four years since joining the space.
Zero percent chance I would have done that if it wasn’t for 6529 network and the likeminded people that are constantly discussing art and our deep belief in the success of NFTs.
Collect what you want, where you want, and how you want. Freedom to Transact.
However, we should be constantly thinking about how to move from PvP to P^P. Celebrate those that are still building, still creating, still collecting.
If you don’t like an approach, then you certainly don’t have to participate. However, if you care about the success of the space and you care about its future… please critique with the intent of helping the builders make things better.
I am very proud of all of those that continue to build our collective future and those that work to understand and make things better.
We are going to make it because of exactly this. Drown out the noise, keep bettering yourself/the space and we will attract more amazing people to join this movement.
Anyways catch yall in Marfa! Can’t wait to meet even more remarkable people.
