Tomorrow morning someone is coming to mend the dishwasher and I’m really hoping it isn’t the same person that came to mend it last January because if it is they will see that after 12 months, despite talking the talk, I am still only halfway through decorating the kitchen.

🥰Wow!! This is amazing🥰
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has written to me, thanking me for calling out Boris Johnson's lies!
I've only just got through the thousands of emails, letters and cards ☺️
You give me strength. I will never stop speaking truth to power ✊🏾 (1/2)
I’ve said it for years but bears repeating. @BBCNews is politically and culturally biased, and should not be anyone’s default organisation for impartial news coverage.

The new @turn2us_org Benefits Calculator has been built by and for benefit claimants. It is the most efficient and accurate tool for people who are trying to work out what means-tested benefits they are eligible for. Find out what support you could get: direc.to/gPgH
If I can hear my neighbour listening constantly to Dire Straits, does that mean my neighbour can hear me constantly watching The Golden Girls?
That attempt at convincing a nation that a PM’s consistent, blatant and predictable lies are by their consistent, blatant and predictable nature, honest, is piss poor political journalism but by god you’ve gotta admire the gaslighting skills
An unfit Tory PM will usually only ever be brought down by another Tory, and when the time suits them - not by the Press that doesn’t have the will nor the Labour Party that doesn’t have the ability. That is a measure how wholly corrupt and rigged our system is.
I’m currently in tears by the end of 3 out of every 4 episodes of @BBCTheArchers
Sometimes I’m weeping midway.
It never used to be so.
I’m wondering if there’s been a change of scriptwriter, or whether it’s simply a reflection of my growing fragility as a result of the pandemic.

Replying to @CPhilpOfficial
@CPhilpOfficial As you are a minister at the Home Office, this is on you. I trust that you will have the character & courage to support your constituents, not just your own political ambitions. #CroydonSouth
A shameful day for The Met when the #claphamcommon vigil paying respects to #SarahEverard & calling for an end to violence against women ends in violence against women. Also a timely reminder that fascism doesn’t always arrive in small, easily-missed increments #ReclaimTheStreets

I saw this posted as part of a thread on what men can do to help women feel safer. If you're a man, you should absolutely read it. If you're a woman, you'll know all of this stuff already. stylist.co.uk/life/walk-like…

It’s a week since @louloufell lost her account in the most vicious and appalling Twitter pile on by #BlueTickBullies I’ve ever seen.
A single mum, just trying to raise her kids & get on with life, attacked as if she were a public figure who’d actually done something terrible

Unhinged bastards. Absolutely grotesque.
The @Conservatives won't stop until everything has been privatised, 100% of the media is owned by Tory-supporting Libertarains, and any criticism of free-market capitalism is punishable by death.

THREAD
For all those denying any #BBCBias on @BBCNews & @BBCPolitics shows, here's some of the formal 'corrections & clarifications' to "mistakes" made by the @BBC in 2019, which all *completely coincidentally* helped the Tories by damaging @UKLabour's reputation.
