I tried switching from cocaine to notion, but went back to cocaine.
I had:
- A daily habit tracker
- A weekly planning dashboard
- A dopamine detox database
- A 90-day transformation roadmap
- A page called “Become the Best Version of Myself”
For about 48 hours, I was unstoppable. Then I spent six hours choosing icons, adjusting database properties, and watching YouTube tutorials on PARA methodology.
Eventually, I relapsed.
Turns out cocaine was cheaper than my Notion subscription and required considerably less setup.
My Notion dashboard now has a task called “Stop doing cocaine” that’s been overdue for 17 days.
Thank you @ChartMogul for an incredible 8 years of keeping track of my MRR. I recommend this product to anyone just getting started.
(I'm only leaving because I built an in-house solution that chartmogul couldn't support)
In 2019 GPT-2 was held back because it was considered too dangerous to release.
That was seven years ago and the whole thing now fits on a phone.

The filters were pretty ugly on @castingcallclub, so today I went in and cleaned up a bunch of things.
Keep in mind that labels are type-in fields. That means they all come from you. I periodically go through these labels and merge them, delete some, and approve some for being in the search, etc. This happens about once per year, and here are the major updates I've done this time.
These labels are now live on the search and on your profiles.
- The voice description field actually will be voice descriptions now. That's always a plus.
- Accents will be grouped by major accent and then by minor accent. So you'll have things like American (New York) and American (Midwest) and British (Cockney) now
- Languages will be sorted first by the most popular language in the platform, which is English, followed by Spanish, and then all the rest.
- I deleted about 150 slurs or bad words inside of these labels. Please stop being naughty.
This year's @railsworld in a nutshell:
@dhh - Stop coding, you stupids! AI AI AI.
Rails Community - Uhh...we're not with him.
If you wanted to know what I'd shipped you had to open five websites, like an animal.
It's one list now. Casting Call Club, Shosay and Closing Credits pull straight out of their own JSON. I write the Buford ones by hand.
