Default out of the box experience for @openclaw is still bloatead, context runs out very fast. There's still praise for the web UI with is a vast improved experience, along with apps and windows companion, but the core agent handling still requires too much upfront work.

With GOG, if you own a game, you can download an offline installer.
You can copy this to an external drive, and whenever you want, whilst offline, you can reinstall and play that game.
You own it, it yours, no DRM.
This is ownership and whilst I mostly use Steam, I have recently started purchasing my absolute fave games on GOG.

People keep bashing the app calling it slop. It’s the first release of a free, community based app.
I believe it’s completely reasonable if you think about the context. I’d like to see others in the same context do better.

Is the app great yet? No. It’s a start.
It was built by the community. Getting the iOS and Android apps working with secure pairing and push notifications - and getting both through App Review -took a surprising amount of work.

It’s hard to measure, but you can feel it just like you can feel great music, food, or craftsmanship. As Jony Ive put it: “I do believe that we have this ability to sense care.” At Apple, he said, “we designed everything, and we cared about everything.”
The worst products feel soulless. You can sense when nobody cares. Most enterprise software feels this way.
AI has made it super easy to create soulless things at scale. But it doesn’t have to be this way. The antidote is to be even more intentional about creating things with soul.
