Who's working on adaptively creating UI in real-time? I keep asking around and can't seem to find the right niche but I'm almost certain they are out there.
Very strongly agree with this. Excited for a new wave of for-profit R&D labs.
Replying to @jeremyphoward
IMO the right way to build R&D capabilities is thru a very small number of curious, enthusiastic, technically brilliant generalists.
Having huge teams of specialists creates an enormous amount of organizational friction.
People will be surprised what the right small team can do

Everything that takes more than a day to debug ends up being a one line change, I don't make the rules.
Apropos of nothing: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH
Design takes time.
The output of my last ~1.5 hours is two slack comments, and the writing was inseparable from the thinking.
I couldn't have just thought a bit and then fired off a response. Writing the response was a hook to really think through the thing at hand. The neat thing is that at the end of this little ad hoc design process, I now also have a very thoughtful response.
With apologies to my @hiddendoorco colleagues @hmason, @Slapworth, and @fossilosophy, who have to read slack messages that I claim are thoughtful, but which they could reasonably just call "long".
