Some say delusional, some say visionary, others say new or aspiring NFT Founder.
Now, I’ve been perusing the timeline and this isn’t specifically aimed at anyone, it’s just my general opinion which we are all entitled to and we can all ignore.
Before becoming an NFT project founder you need to hear these home truths:
1/Your NFT “Art”- this sounds obvious but when you cast your eyes on the TL, some of these abominations that people pull out of their arses and say to the world - “this is spectacular and drawn straight from my mind”, only to resemble the shit a meth addict with adhd would draw, or Timmy aged 5 after a hard day at ketamine school - it brings up immediate red flags to me, as it shows me your critical objective analysis is away with the fairies and you are bound to get the treasury funds drained when you are catfished by a dude called Lee who works in Grimsby.
2/Project “Funds” - Okay, this one I’ve seen about 3 times today alone. Let me help you with this, if you have not costed up your “wish list” aka the “lure me in and steal ma money pappy” list which includes creating your 3D assets, partnering with Sony in the next Spiderman endeavour with our NFTs as a cameo star to rise etc then why are you minting? If you do not know how much each of your anticipated endeavours will cost, plus your indirect and direct operating costs then why are you minting? Because if you do this before mint, when the mint day inevitably goes to shit because your only marketing in this space is you’re part of the elite “I held my monkey from millions to zero special club” then you can pull the plug immediately, refund the people who minted, no harm no foul……
3/No one minted? Yeah know one gives a fuck - if you have a collection anywhere between 3,000 and 10,000 in this day and age that you intend to mint out for profit with the 300 or so of us left……go fuck off……then continue to fuck off…….then keep fucking off……until I can’t see how far you’ve fucked off.
If you’re offering nothing other than another 3D asset (I can create this on Chat), a new game (I can create this with Chat), another RWA super duper cup and pen combo (Can’t do this with chat but that’s because even chat wouldn’t do this), then you are just going to be left behind. If you ain’t first you’re last and will have a modicum of success if you are lucky.
4/Flipping the JPEGs - bruh…..you want me to buy them so you can take ma pennies, I want to flip them to make more pennies there are no projects that are exempt from this rule. Especially the doginal dickriders bored pimp club that I have no affiliation too, if I buy it then it’s mine do come around saying I dumped or anyone else got that matter because you’re setting yaself up to catch dem strays.
5/I don’t do roadmaps bro - yeah, I can tell by the state of your project! A roadmap isn’t something that you need to share in 2026 because most of these idiots are aping in on a wing and a prayer. But having a business plan is going to help you avoid those sleepless nights, where the monies all gone and you’re sad at home sitting all alone, hungry…….if you don’t attempt to make a plan then plan to fail.
6/Just be kind - now this maybe crazy after all that but you JPEG connoisseurs are the real problem and your lofty expectations after buying in at the top and expecting the founder to make bags go up is issue numero uno. You are quint essentially everything that is wrong with this space, your endless greed, want for more, level of expectation, lack of creativity, knows no bounds. If you buy and don’t sell at the top that is all firmly on YOU! Start acting like an adult you fucking cry babies!
