The TeleGRAM community is expressing their frustration over the delay in the launch of the Gram Wallet
In July, Telegram Founder Pavel Durov announced that a native non-custodial Gram Wallet would be coming to every Telegram app before the end of summer
Then on August 31, he published a post on his Telegram channel stating that the wallet was ready but that only some users would receive it initially, while everyone else would have to wait a couple of weeks
A couple of weeks have already passed, but Gram Wallet still hasn’t launched and the community is eagerly waiting for its release
Imo since the Gram Wallet on Telegram is already live and accessible to a select group of users, it means @durov has already finished building it
and given that we're on MTONGA step 5, he may be working on what comes next in MTONGA steps 6 and 7, preparing all the necessary pieces so they fall into their intended places, making the transition as smooth as possible and ensuring everything is set and ready to go
Remember there are more than 1 billion Telegram users and only around 2 million active wallets. That indicates an insane gap
Telegram already has the distribution but most of those individuals are Web2 users who only use @telegram as a messager app
This is where the Gram Wallet comes into play
If the native wallet actually reaches Telegram users and people start holding and transacting with GRAM the numbers can change quickly and we may see a TON ATH very soon
That may be why the @ton_blockchain and @toncommunity are not active and why Durov didn't share it on his X account
