That's a clear shot at INDX lol. I was thinking about developing a 3D printer around INDX, but the costs are too high now. A 7 tool INDX system alone costs $705 and they're not even hardened. The hardened E3D Obxidian tools will probably cost a lot more than $45, probably too expensive to compete. The tools are quite simple. The costs should come down to make INDX economically viable.

Bambu realised their mistake and pivoted to toolchangers. I never bought an AMS because it wastes a ton of filament. Toolchangers were the clear answer all along. The vortek system wasn’t it either, too much complication.

What if I tell you that there is a way to see the bed without needing a vertically actuating dock? You can also reduce the depth of the printer with this one simple trick.

01Space ESP32 C3 is my favourite little EPS32 now. It has a detachable headers so I can also plug in male jumpers The display allows me to monitor stuff without plugging into a computer. This costs only a little more than the shitty EPS32 C3 supermini.

Favourite little ESP32** At least everyone knows I write my own posts now

I'm running Claude and Codex as a GAN (Generative Adversarial Network) for vibe PCB designing. Opus 5.5 does the work and sends a PR, I ask Codex to review the PR. Any faults gets fed back to Claude. Hope jealously makes them work harder.

Do you see what I saw? Because I see a seesaw. Superimposing two images we can find the pivot point using the perpendicular bisector of a chord theorem. The fulcrum is cleary slightly forward of the B pillar, not the rear wheels. This implies a fulcrum near the center-of-gravity. Given the junkyard setting and the visible damage, this is probably a gutted junker with the engine pulled, which would shift the center of gravity back to where the pivot point is shown. The car rests on its front wheels with a hidden fulcrum, and the rear wheels are already off the ground. As the robot tips the front up, the rear goes down. Watch closely and you'll see it lift too far, causing the rear wheels to bounce off the ground, as you see the front drops for a moment before the robot recovers. The robot did not lift a car. It tipped a balanced shell. The video suggests strength the robot does not possess.

The new @Tesla Roadster with the Thrust Augment puts out more thrust than an F-16 fighter jet at military thrust. • Roadster: >80 kN (~18,000 lbf) • F-16 military thrust: ~79 kN (17,800 lbf) (Military thrust is the maximum thrust a jet engine produces without using the afterburner)

"but but but what's the practical application for this?!?" Supercars and hypercars are toys for rich adults. This is the most "hyper" car ever. It'll outperform F1 cars on tracks, even tho the endurance won't be that high. Tesla already makes the most practical cars. They're among the most reliable, safe, easy to use, cheap to operate while also having great performance and good handling for its class.
Real life, baby

Today is a reminder to never bet against Elon. Bro turns ‘impossible’ into ‘late’.
The new Roadster will actually do something like this

This guy is building an open source smart gym! I've been thinking about upgrading my basic home gym to a smart gym like this but they're too expensive. This would be great. Link below

How many times do I have to say this lol Just use cloudflare.
Holy shit, I just realized Namecheap and most popular domain registrars basically double your price at renewal. Buy a domain for $10, pay $20 the next year. I thought this was just how domains worked until I switched to Cloudflare. Never go back.

Amazing! This is the best application of AI CAD for me.
Working on a new tool that automatically reverse-engineers 3D scans into really good CAD geometry. This example took a good hour, but man, does it look good and clean!

Mechanical engineering is the final boss for AI Which is pretty unfortunate as a self employed person who does a lot of CAD for my work
the frontier models are still really bad at CAD btw

I'm reading a lot of retarded takes on this topic. I'll make 1 post and be done with the topic, just because I want WiFi in flights. > Starlink beams can be turned on or off at specific regions. This is well demonstrated at the Ukraine-Russia border, where only Starlinks in Ukraine has access to the internet. Forensics clearly confirmed this. > Access to internet is only a "national security threat" for oppressive dictatorships like Iran, where they killed 30k protestors. Freedom of speech and information is fundamental to democracy. When RG shouted "vote chori", we openly discussed and debunked it, that's how democracy works. > Turn off the beams in sensitive areas if it's really a security problem, let the rest of us have reliable internet and WiFi in flights.
Starlink beams are turned off over India, so the claim that they were used by anyone for any reason is absolutely false
