so many people don't realize that most characters only have an appearance description so that you have something to visualise when reading and not because it's something so integral to their character that you can't change. the Important bits are there for all characters
But like someone mentioned before, maybe she grants him the quest but after she goes missing the agreement becomes null and void OR what the oracle says just cancels this out. Therefore nothing really changes at all and its all good. Or its edited / purposefully fake subtitles

In the book its described “FOR A MOMENT she looked like…” she literally switches / glitches lol. She doesnt permanently look a certain way to ppl. She still has her own face. Now, i wanna see the annabeth version of her desperately too but kate is awesome, yall just being mean.
