my deepest darkest kinkiest most fucked up fantasy is that there’s a hospital with all the doctors I need in one spot and they all communicate and are truly invested in me and work together and figure it out and I get better. and its $35

i think one of the most romantic things about being alive is that another person can alter the architecture of your life so completely that new versions of you begin to exist. not every part of you is waiting to be uncovered. some are formed through being known by someone else

one thing i learned from a conversation today: hard things can make people significantly better. but there’s a huge difference between making the work hard and making someone’s life at work hard. tight deadlines. high standards. ambitious expectations. yes. unnecessary cognitive load, fear, politics, constantly walking on eggshells? probably not. the difficulty should come from the problem you’re solving.

Everyone I truly admire is just going for it. There is no gap between the things they say they’re going to do and the things they do. They just do. Close the gap. The wider that space is, the less trust you have. Of course you don’t believe yourself. Of course others don’t believe you. You’re not doing anything. Most people don’t actually do anything. Do something. Be decisive. Take action. Quit worrying so much about making the right decision. Make the decision right. Watch the world open up for you. See where it takes you. You might not go where you thought you would. But at least you’re going.

📢 We're hiring across multiple roles @mavehealth Marketing opportunities below (will share engineering and design ones soon) 1/ Content marketing - content campaigns, social media, influencer marketing, newsletter and more - req: 2+ years exp - apply: binary.so/6EafdtB 2/ Video editor / Creative director - social media and brand content - apply: binary.so/rI00t3h 3/ Performance marketing - meta ads and more - req: 2+ years exp, $50K+/month ad spend - apply: binary.so/Ux80xyN Read this before you apply: 1. don't apply if 'work-life balance' if your priority right now, we're trying to do the best work of our life here; no olympic athlete wins gold without the grind. 2. you'll constantly be inspired by others in the team; if your current/ex colleagues are great friends but don't push you to be better, we're probably a great match. 3. we really value independent thinking and actively pursue differentiation; if your default approach is to copy what others are doing, you're ngmi. 4. we prefer high agency individuals who can work as ICs; figure it out and get it done is the way of mave. 5. you're expected to learn continuously; I've myself completed 3x week-long intensive courses over the last few months. I can promise you a culture where extraordinary ability, ownership and fortitude are deeply valued and everything else is secondary. It's not easy, but it's a lot of fun.

we're hiring for 3 critical and senior roles in our R&D team across hardware and software - principal hardware engineer: you’ll scale the systems that present breath samples to our detection dogs, taking us from hundreds to thousands of samples a day  and from one platform to tens worldwide! project manager, hardware: run the iteration loops that take our hardware from working prototype to shippable product, turning ambiguous R&D goals into clear milestones, owners, and keep us on schedule with collaborators across the world. principal software engineer: lead our software team and own the architecture decisions that keep the platform reliable as sample volume and deployments grow. our software has to be right, with a high cost for each missed signal, so you'll set the standards for testing, review, and delivery that the team builds on. if you’d like to join the pack, reach out to us at: dognosis.tech/careers

No. You need to win small frequently to continue believing in yourself
You need to win big a couple of times for people to start believing in you but you only need to win big once to start believing in yourself.
